Information used to run the marketplace

We store account details, profile information and photos you provide; listings, bids, purchases, reviews, comments and support reports; and meetup arrangements. These records support auctions, communication, payment accounting, safety and customer help.

What other people can see

Listings, shop profiles, public photos, comments and reviews can be visible to visitors. Bid history uses bidder codes unless you opt in to show your display name. Your account email is not a public bid-history label. Relevant buyers and sellers receive the private information needed to arrange their exchange. The owner can access member and transaction information for operating the service.

Analytics and your choices

First-party analytics measure visits, auction and photo viewing time, scrolling, bids and feature use. They can associate signed-in activity with your account. Analytics are currently enabled unless you turn them off or your browser sends a supported Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Change this in You → App, privacy & preferences.

The product analytics system does not record passwords, payment fields, message bodies, identity documents or precise location. Operational and security records needed for the service are separate from optional product analytics.

Service providers and external links

The site uses hosting services, Supabase for account and database services, Stripe for payment and seller onboarding, and Resend for configured email delivery. Browser/device push services handle opted-in notifications. Provider systems may process technical connection information needed to deliver these services.

Shopify Buy Now and partner offers open separate services with their own checkout and privacy practices. Affiliate links may contain a referral tracking code.

Permissions

You choose whether to enable push notifications and provide photos or location access for relevant features. You can also change permissions in device settings. Publicly sharing an address or personal information in a listing or comment makes it available to other visitors.

Account deletion and retention

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Requests currently need manual processing; submitting one does not immediately delete or disable the account. We review unfinished transactions and records that may need to be retained for legal, accounting, fraud prevention or dispute handling. We will explain applicable retention and completion details in the private response.

Our processing target is 30 calendar days from receipt of a deletion request. We aim to remove profile information, photos, comments and other unnecessary personal data, while separately reviewing transaction records that require retention. We will confirm completion, explain any retained records and provide an update if more time is needed. This target is not automatic deletion.
